Coaches: The Football Fun Factory

The Company

Our goal is massive… we are aiming to become the ‘World’s Leading Children’s Football Coaching Organisation’. The Football Fun Factory was founded in 2017 and has now grown into a nationwide football provider and is spreading across the UK and beyond.

The Football Fun Factory was created to provide truly unique experiences for boys and girls of all ages and abilities.

The Roles Available

The roles are to support the local management franchisee in the running of their football programmes.

We have multiple Lead Coach and Assistant Coach positions available with sessions launching in East Kilbride, Shawlands, Priesthill and Beith from September 2025.

The Person

You will be a superstar football coach with an ability to engage and inspire young children. You will need to be an excellent face to face communicator and fantastic at building and developing relationships with both parents and children.

The FFF is open to supporting passionate and committed individuals to achieving relevant qualifications if needed.

You may be responsible for the transport of equipment for sessions delivered, to and from a venue each week.

Qualifications

  • For our Football Fun and Development Sessions for 5-12 year olds, you will need a football coaching qualification, first aid certification and valid DBS check and some experience of coaching this age group.
  • For our parent and toddler Tots sessions for 18 months to 5 year olds, a football coaching qualification is not essential as we place more emphasis on your experience and ability to engage with children of this age and we will provide training to support you deliver our sessions the FFF way. We want someone who is energetic, fun and creative who can help us deliver unforgettable early experiences for our toddlers (and parents! we love to get them involved too!).

Hours and Location

Hours will vary depending on your availability.

We have sessions that take place during the evening and weekends, as well as Camps in the school holidays and parties and events. Our hope is that the successful candidate will want to work with us to increase their coaching hours with us and to grow their schedule over time.

You will deliver sessions across your local community in the evenings and weekends. The sessions we currently have in place are spread across a wide area, and so it is expected that we will recruit a number of coaches who will coach sessions close to where they are based.

We currently have sessions in the following locations that we need Lead and Assistant Coaches to deliver from 1st September:

East Kilbride:

  • Playsport on Thursdays at 5pm (5-12 years)
  • Whitemoss 3G at John Wright Sports Centre on Sundays at 10am (5-12 years)

Shawlands:

  • The Pitches Shawlands Indoor 3G on Tuesdays at 5pm (5-12 years)

Priesthill:

  • Hillwood Park 3G on Wednesdays at 5pm (5-12 years)

Beith:

  • Beith Astro 3G on Wednesdays at 5pm (5-12 years)
  • Beith Community Centre on Saturdays at 9am (18 months to 5 years parent and toddler session)

Additional sessions may be added before the September launch and more beyond that as we continue to grow.

Job Type: Part-time sessional work

Pay: £20.00-£25.00 per hour
