The National Lottery 30th Birthday

To mark The National Lottery 30th Birthday, we’re celebrating the incredible changes we’ve collectively delivered and seek to inspire the next generation of good causes and players.

For the past 30 years, The National Lottery has supported good causes to bring positive change to communities across the United Kingdom and the Isle of Man.

Since the first draw was held in 1994, over £48 billion has been raised for good causes and over 685,000 individual grants have been awarded to projects and organisations, making a real difference to local communities.

Thanks to players, National Lottery can strengthen local communities, power sports teams, support environmental projects, unleash creative talent, empower the elderly, and unlock young people's potential.
