‘Wider evaluations’ are independent evaluations looking in depth at how the programmes we deliver alongside our partners support the sporting system.
These give us insight into what is working well and how we can work with partners to develop and improve. They focus on the blend of support we provide across our portfolios of work and the findings will inform our future planning.
During 2017/18 we commissioned three wider evaluations covering:
- Coaches and coaching
- Schools and education
- Clubs and communities
In 2018/19 we will commission a wider evaluation of our ‘Places’ portfolio.
