Ingredients
50g or 6 tablespoons of rolled oats
50ml milk of your choice
Handful of raspberries
Handful of blueberries
3 or 4 strawberries, sliced
½ banana, sliced
½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
1 tablespoon honey
Method
- Add the oats, then the milk, to a clean jam jar or Tupperware-type tub
- Add the fruit and honey in layers, then put the lid on
- Leave in the fridge overnight
- The next morning add a little more milk if you prefer a looser mixture. Your summer berry oats are now ready to enjoy!
Tip: For a recovery snack, add 2-3 tbsp fat-free Greek yogurt or other high-protein yoghurt (eg Skyr/Kvarg) or mixed nuts
