As we create new routines after the summer holidays, it’s a great time to join a local group, take up a new hobby or try something you’ve never done before! If you’ve taken up a new activity during lockdown, why not take the next step and connect with a local group or club?
Trying a new sport or activity might seem daunting, but being active can really benefit your mental wellbeing. By finding an activity you enjoy, being active can help by reducing stress, increasing feelings of connection, boosting confidence and feeling a sense of achievement.
