Tables can be an issue for accessibility and for mobile users. Often there are better ways of presenting the information without using tables for example using headings and subheadings.
Where tables are required, aim to minimise the width. Additional HTML code will be needed to add a caption and define row and column headings.
Complex tables should be avoided where possible for example where a row spans multiple columns.
