Q&A with Ella

What has been your highlight during your time as a YA?

My highlight as a young ambassador was meeting so many new people and helping to lead my school to having even more opportunities in sport, and also having the opportunity to present my school's sports personality of the year awards.

What advice would you give to a young person considering becoming a Young Ambassador?

My advice to give to a young person considering becoming a YA is to try everything and do everything; it will go by so fast. Being a young ambassador is a chance to make a big difference, so be confident, even if it’s out of your comfort zone; you were chosen for a reason, so have fun!

What is your favourite sport?

Dance and Cheerleading

What is your proudest achievement?

My proudest Achievement was becoming my high school’s Cheerleading and Pom captain. It was such an amazing experience to take the two teams to the Scottish Schools Cheerleading Competition and bring back multiple awards for both teams and for my school.

What are your future aspirations?

My future aspirations are to complete further education in college and university to become a PE teacher.
