A huge part of getting your nutrition right is around creating balance. A good starting point is having a balance of nutrients in each of your meals. Variety is key also to make sure you include a wide range of nutrients and, of course, to make sure you don’t get bored!

Use the list of foods below to create meals which have a source of carbohydrate, protein and vegetables/fruit. Flavourings and condiments (herbs, spices and sauces) can be added to keep meals interesting and enjoyable.
