The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Sport Competition Manager – Swimming & Para Swimming to join our Sport team at Glasgow 2026. This is your chance to lead the integrated delivery of two of the most high-profile and widely watched competitions of the Games, creating a world-class environment for elite athletes from across the Commonwealth.
As Sport Competition Manager – Swimming & Para Swimming, you will be responsible for the strategic planning, coordination, and successful delivery of the competitions, in line with the technical standards and regulations of World Aquatics, World Para Swimming, and Commonwealth Sport. From schedule development and venue readiness to Field of Play operations, stakeholder engagement, and workforce planning – your leadership will ensure an athlete-first, Games-ready operation.
Working in close collaboration with International Federations, National Governing Bodies, and internal Functional Areas including Technology, Logistics, Workforce, and Venue Operations, you’ll be the key integrator of sport-specific planning with overall Games-time delivery.
