The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sport Competition Manager – Judo to join our Sport team at Glasgow 2026. This is your chance to take the lead on one of the Games' showcase events and help shape a world-class athlete and official experience.

As Sport Competition Manager – Judo, you’ll be responsible for the full planning and delivery of the Judo competition, working closely with key stakeholders including the International Judo Federation, British Judo, and Commonwealth Sport. From venue readiness and technical delivery to volunteer training and Games-time operations, you’ll ensure every detail meets international standards and reflects the spirit of the Games.

This is a high-profile, hands-on role that sits at the heart of the action. You’ll lead a cross-functional team, manage relationships with governing bodies and technical officials, and oversee every aspect of the competition’s success — all while helping to create a legacy for the sport in Scotland and beyond.
