The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sport Competition Manager – Artistic Gymnastics to join our Sport team at Glasgow 2026. This is your chance to lead the delivery of one of the Games’ most iconic sports, and to help create an inspiring competition experience for athletes, officials, and spectators from across the Commonwealth.

As Sport Competition Manager – Artistic Gymnastics, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of planning and delivery – from competition schedules and venue design to technical operations and workforce planning. Working in close partnership with the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG), British Gymnastics, Scottish Gymnastics, and Commonwealth Sport, you’ll ensure every aspect of the event meets the highest international standards.

This role is central to a complex and collaborative delivery model. You’ll lead a small internal team, coordinate with Functional Areas including Venue Operations, Logistics, Technology, and Workforce, and ensure smooth integration of Artistic Gymnastics into the overall Games plan. You’ll be the lead liaison for FIG and other key partners, overseeing operational readiness, legacy planning, and the creation of a world-class athlete and spectator experience.
