About the Role

Scottish Cycling is looking for a dedicated and hard working individual for the role of Social Impact Coordinator.

The Coordinator will support the delivery of a nationwide social impact strategy, working closely with the Social Impact Project Lead, internal teams, and external partners. This role will assist in the coordination of programmes that contribute to health improvement, economic growth, and thriving communities across Scotland.

The Grand Depart is the official start of the three week-long Tour de France, however these posts will ensure there is tangible impact long before July 2027. There are three overarching social impact outcomes that all UK wide event partners are collectively looking to contribute to before, during and after the 2027 TdF and these are health, economic growth and thriving communities. This post will work closely with British Cycling's Social Impact team to help deliver six UK wide programmes, along with the opportunity for tailored Scottish initiatives. Some potential examples of these projects are a girls cycling programme, school engagement, employability, and arts and cultural initiatives.
