Role: Physical Preparation Coach

Contract Type: Contractor – Bank Staff

Renumeration: Glasgow Living Wage: £13.45 - £20.00 per hour dependent on experience and qualifications

Work Pattern: Independent working, predominantly one-to-one clients and Ad Hoc cover.

Location: Locations across Glasgow and surrounding area.

About the Role

We are looking for a driven and self-motivated individual to support our growth across the Glasgow franchise. The successful individual will play a key role in the expansion of our one-to-one client offering and have the opportunity of working across our range of clients in a cover capacity.

This role is suitable for a physical preparation coach who is looking to supplement current work, study commitments or sporting career, take on ownership of a project and is comfortable working independently.

Our essential requirements are:

  • Someone who works and lives by our values of caring, honesty and professionalism

  • Degree in Sports Science, Strength and Conditioning or similar

  • Ability to achieve a strength and conditioning accreditation in 6 months (including the UKSCA S&C Trainer Award)

  • Evidence of further learning including but not limited to additional qualifications

  • Experience dealing with clients and working towards pre-agreed goals

  • Excellent communication skills (including in front of a camera)

  • Drivers Licence and own car (or ability to use one)

  • First Aid Qualification

Other desirable attributes are:

  • UKSCA, CSCS or ASCA

  • Previous sporting experience

  • Experience working in high-performance sport

  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team

  • Team player who wants to become a leader
