Base: The Trust is based at Strathmore Rugby Club in Forfar.
Founded in June 2017 and based in Forfar, Angus, the purpose of Strathmore Community Rugby Trust (The Trust) is the advancement of participation in rugby union and rugby league. We achieve this through our community rugby projects which include a Rugby Academy for secondary school pupils, Walking Rugby for the less able, an inclusive rugby team for adults with learning disabilities and Autism-Friendly Rugby for primary age children with Autism. Each project is designed to meet our vision of ‘Developing People Through Rugby.’
Strathmore Community Rugby Trust has an opportunity for a part-time minibus driver to join our team and wish to invite qualified (D1 driving license) and experienced individuals to submit an application.

The successful candidate will collect the minibus on Fridays before meeting young people at either Brechin High School, Websters High School in Kirriemuir or in Forfar. You will then transport them to the project location. The sessions are held throughout term time at Strathmore Rugby Club, Forfar (March – October) and at Forfar Community Campus (November – February). You will then return young people to their pickup location after the session.
The successful applicant will remain on site during the session and for the right candidate there could be opportunities to support the group and potential for professional development including Rugby Coaching.
For insurance purposes, candidates should be 25 years of age or older. This post is a regulated role and therefore under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Full PVG checks will therefore be required.
