The role
Working within the First Team Recruitment Department and reporting to the Head of Recruitment, the Lead Technical Scout will take ownership of the Club's technical scouting process across designated strategic markets, combining video scouting, live observation and data intelligence to identify players capable of playing and winning for Rangers FC.
Working closely with the Chief Scout, Scouting Co-ordinator and Data Insights Lead, the role will manage the Club's Data Standouts Technical Scouting workstream, chair regular Technical Scouting Meetings, and recommend players for further review by senior recruitment staff. During transfer windows, the Lead Technical Scout will support the production of technical reports, player videos and recruitment presentation material.
The role carries ownership of technical scouting coverage across Serbia, Austria and Portugal, with responsibility for developing expert market knowledge and succession planning in these territories.
