Salary: £24,871 per annum full time equivalent (£19,896 pro-rata)
Permanent, part-time (29.6 hours) 
Based in Inverclyde National Centre, Largs, KA30 8RW

sportscotland is currently looking for a Groups Co-ordinator to manage residential groups at sportscotland national centre Inverclyde, which include sport’s governing bodies, clubs and school groups. Exceptional administrative and communication skills are required to effectively work with group organisers to successfully plan each group visit. The role involves gathering all necessary information to ensure smooth operational management, whilst always providing excellent customer service.  Attention to detail is key as is the ability to work to tight deadlines.

You will be responsible for ensuring various departments, including on-site catering & cleaning contractor, have the correct information to allocate resources and staffing to meet the requirements of all visiting customers. Participation in weekly bookings meeting to ensure smooth operational delivery for all groups.  

In your role you would be responsible for applying terms and conditions of bookings as well as financial policy and process. Including but not limited to raising invoices and working with customers to ensure timely payment. 

It will be a requirement for you to effectively use our bookings system (OPERA) to allocate facilities, accommodation, meals, and other requirements in line with customer requests.

The successful candidate should have at least two years’ experience in a busy customer service environment, with a focus on administration skills. Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing are required to effectively liaise with group organisers over their requirements.

This position is 29.6 hours per week Monday – Friday – working over either 4 or 5 days per week, flexible depending on the successful candidate.
