The role
We are recruiting for a Fan Liaison to join the Fan Engagement team at the club. The purpose of this role is to engage and liaise with supporters on matchdays, providing assistance and information to enhance their experience and strengthen communication between the club and its supporters. Fan Liaisons contribute to creating a positive, inclusive, and welcoming environment at Ibrox for all supporters.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with the SLO and Fan Engagement Team to engage with supporters on a matchday.
- Welcome supporters to Ibrox Stadium, provide directions, answer any queries and enhance the supporter experience wherever possible.
- Assist in gathering supporter feedback, identifying any key issues and provide feedback to the SLO/Fan Engagement Team as required.
- Support matchday fan-focused initiatives such as family areas, fan zones, and themed activations as required.
- Be present and approachable across the stadium, helping create a positive and inclusive environment.
- Where appropriate, calmly de-escalate low-level issues by listening to supporters and referring to the relevant staff (e.g. Stand Manager, stewarding, or SLO).
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the Club’s culture, values, and supporter base, and act in the best interests of Rangers Football Club at all times.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with supporters.
- Calm and professional approach to conflict resolution.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and communication platforms such as Teams.
- Strong understanding of Rangers Football Club and its supporter culture.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive, inclusive, and proactive approach to supporter engagement.
- Fluency in spoken and written English (additional languages advantageous).
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
