The Scottish Women’s Premier League (SWPL) is seeking to recruit a Digital Content & Communications Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the SWPL’s content and communications plan as well as delivering consistent, high quality social media and website content. The successful candidate will also support the SWPL’s Head of Operations and Partnerships in the delivery and activation of the SWPL’s commercial and broadcast commitments and be a key point of contact for the media. An interest in women’s football is essential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the SWPL’s content and communications plan as well as delivering consistent, high quality social media and website content. The successful candidate will also support the SWPL’s Head of Operations and Partnerships in the delivery and activation of the SWPL’s commercial and broadcast commitments and be a key point of contact for the media.
As with any small team, a collaborative approach will be essential. The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate an ability to work independently and have a confident and professional demeanour at all times.

Further Information
The role is usually based at Hampden Park, Glasgow but flexibility and the ability to travel within Scotland will be required. Given the nature of the role, it is anticipated that the successful candidate will be required to undertake work on SWPL matchdays (usually a Sunday), including on occasion some evenings.
