About the Role
Livingston FC is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Children's Academy Coaches to join our growing Youth Academy. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a professional club environment, helping to nurture and inspire the next generation of footballers in West Lothian.
As an Academy Coach, you will deliver engaging and age-appropriate training sessions for children within our Academy structure. You will create a positive learning environment that develops players technically, tactically, physically, and socially, while aligning with the club's playing philosophy and values.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and review high-quality training sessions for Academy age groups (U10-U12).
- Foster a fun, safe, and inclusive environment where children can learn and thrive.
- Support players' technical, tactical, physical, and psychological development.
- Communicate effectively with parents, players, and Academy staff.
- Uphold Livingston FC's standards of safeguarding, wellbeing, and player welfare.
- Attend fixtures, training sessions, and relevant CPD events.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum Scottish FA Children's Licence or equivalent coaching qualification.
- Experience coaching young players (ideally within an Academy or grassroots environment).
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to player development and welfare.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
- PVG/Disclosure Scotland clearance.
Desirable
- Experience within a professional club or talent pathway.
- First Aid qualification (IFA or equivalent).
