The Role
We have a unique and exciting opportunity available to join the team as our CGA Relations Manager – Africa & Europe. This role will place you at the heart of the action, working alongside experts to deliver a global event that sets the new standard for major sporting celebrations. You’ll gain hands-on experience and contribute to creating a world-class Games.
As CGA Relations Manager – Africa & Europe, you will play a vital role in shaping an inclusive, athlete-first experience at Glasgow 2026. Acting as the dedicated liaison for Commonwealth Games Associations (CGAs) across Africa and Europe, you’ll build trusted relationships and provide expert guidance throughout their Games journey — from early planning through to Games-time support.
Working across multiple functional areas, you’ll help CGAs navigate key operational processes and ensure their delegations feel welcomed, respected, and fully prepared. This is a people-focused, high-impact role at the heart of an international celebration of sport and culture, where your diplomacy, attention to detail, and passion for connection will directly contribute to the success of the Games. This pivotal role will place you at the heart of a world-class sporting celebration, supporting Commonwealth Games Associations (CGAs) from Africa and Europe on their journey to and during Glasgow 2026.
You’ll act as the dedicated liaison for these CGAs — building trusted relationships, advocating for their needs, and coordinating critical Games services such as accreditation, accommodation, and transport. Your cultural intelligence, diplomacy, and problem-solving skills will ensure a seamless and athlete-first experience for teams from across two continents.
Working in partnership with teams across the Organising Company, you’ll help deliver a Games that reflects the Commonwealth values of Humanity, Equality, and Destiny – showcasing Scotland to the world while empowering nations and territories to shine.
Salary: from £45,000 offer depending on skills and experience.
