Leisure and Culture Dundee, in partnership with Dundee City Council, is looking to recruit an Active Schools Assistant to join our successful Active Schools Team.
This exciting role requires candidates to have the desire and commitment to use sport and physical activity to improve the lives of children and young people through the delivery of safe and fun sport and physical activity sessions/interventions.
In addition, candidates should have sports coaching experience, experience in organising sport and physical activity programmes and events and experience of engaging with children and young people through sport and physical activity.
If you think you have all the above, and hopefully more, then the Active Schools Assistant role is definitely for you. Working 37 hours per week term time plus (43 weeks) within the Active Schools Team, located at various schools in Dundee.
This is a fixed term post until the 31st March 2027. For existing Leisure and Culture Dundee and Dundee City Council employees’ secondments will be considered. Line Manager approval should be sought prior to applying for a secondment.
