The role

The Academy Recruitment Analyst will work in conjunction with the club’s Technical Director, the Head of Academy Scouting & Recruitment and the recruitment analysis team. This role will support recruitment with weekly fixture planning and allocation, building final videos and creating due diligence packs. The successful candidate will be expected to be a champion of the scouting process and a go-to person for scouts regarding our protocols and procedures.

The Academy Recruitment Analyst is also expected to work closely with our Academy Scouting Executive and First Team Technical Scouts to manage and interrogate data from various sources. Specifically, the assessment of players using video and analytics programs such as Wyscout, Sportscode and video annotation tools such as Piero. You must be able to work within a digital framework inclusive of Cloud-based systems.

This role will have elements of live scouting, and as such, the candidate should be equally comfortable doing individual or match reports. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced, modern, digital environment and must embody personal and professional excellence at all times.
