About the Role

Giffnock Soccer Centre was founded in 1995 and is now Scotland's largest grassroots football club with over 1400 players and a further 200 coaches. As a GSC Academy Coach, you will deliver fun, engaging and age-appropriate coaching sessions for players within our Academy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver fun, safe and engaging coaching sessions for players of all ages related to our coaching curriculum.
  • Work together as part of a dedicated team of coaches to ensure the best possible opportunities for all players.
  • Ensure a safe, welcoming environment for all parents and players who attend.
  • Provide a pathway into the GSC teams.

Essential Requirements

  • Prior coaching experience through further education or community coaching.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work weekends.
  • PVG/Disclosure Scotland clearance.

Desirable

  • SFA 1.1 and 1.2 coaching awards.
  • First Aid qualification.
