Volunteer Student Sport Scientist: Clyde FC

Are you passionate about sport science and eager to gain hands-on experience with a professional football team? Clyde FC is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Sport Science student to join our 1st Team on a voluntary basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in delivering warm-ups and on-pitch conditioning sessions as directed.
  • Collaborate with the current sport scientist and medical staff to learn and contribute to various aspects of sport science delivery.
  • Manage the club's GPS system for player monitoring and performance analysis.
  • Prepare pre-match supplements and hydration strategies.
  • Support post-match conditioning and recovery protocols.
  • Undertake other tasks as required to support the sport science team.

Requirements:

  • Current undergraduate or postgraduate sport science student.
  • Availability for training sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, as well as match days.
  • Own transport is essential.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with a strong willingness to learn and contribute.
