Boroughmuir Thistle FC are recruiting an Operations Manager to oversee all non-football administration for the First Team competing in Scottish Women’s Premier League 2.
Working directly for Head Coach Andy Enwood, this is an ideal opportunity for an excellent administrator with a passion to support Women’s football to play a key role within an ambitious, welcoming team.
This role requires a mixture of in-person and remote working.
Remote working
- Weekly Admin
- Contacting Opposition
- Contacting Referee
- Submitting Match Day Control Forms
- Submitting Attendance data
- Daily Monitoring of Team email account
- Submission of replies to SFA/SWPL requests
- Pitch bookings
- Production of Team Lines
- Ad Hoc Administration
- Player registrations
Player loans
Player contracts
In-person working
At Training sessions
- Organisation of training kit and strips for players (maintaining existing players and new signings)
- On Game Day
- Submission of Team Lines
- Liaison with all external parties (referee, assistant referee's, media...)
- League Match Day requirements (Advertising banners/boards etc)
- Liaison with ball boys/girls
- Organisation of Pre/mid/post game snacks/fuels (gels, fruit etc.)
Ad hoc
- Attendance at SWPL meetings (on occasion virtually)
This is primarily a voluntary role, but limited remuneration may be available to the right candidate.
Previous football administration experience desirable but not essential. Training and kit will be provided.
