Disability Sport Glasgow (DSG) are currently seeking an enthusiastic and well organised Committee Member to assist with the development of disability sport in Glasgow and the West with a focus on funding and grant applications.
The voluntary position is essential for the development of opportunities in sport & physical activity for people with a disability across Glasgow and the West
Responsible to: DSG Branch management committee
Skills required:
- Enthusiastic
- Sound organisational skills
- Prepared to make regular time commitment
- Excellent written communicator
- Good listener
Main duties:
- Committed to attending all management committees
- Actively seek and secure essential funds/grants for the development of DSG
- Contribute to the planning and development of disability sport including opportunities and events in Glasgow and the West.
- Attend occasional events in Glasgow and the West on behalf of DSG.
Time commitment:
- Attend quarterly branch meetings.
- Flexible weekly working hours
