School of Football Coach: ProScore Academy

Job Overview:

ProScore Academy, based in Renfrewshire, delivers a variety of football services to individuals, teams, and schools. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to effectively lead the Boys' School of Football Programme. This programme, hosted at Renfrew High School, integrates academic studies with football education, focusing on the holistic development of pupils. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and develop young footballers in a structured and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development and Delivery:

  • Design and implement a comprehensive football curriculum that supports the individual growth of all participants.
  • Promote the holistic development of young players, ensuring their integration within the wider school community.

High-Performance Culture:

  • Cultivate a high-performance culture, emphasising the program's values and maintaining accountability through the player code of conduct.
  • Develop individual development plans for each pupil and monitor their daily progress.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with pupils, parents, the head of programme, the PE department, and other school staff.
  • Provide regular, constructive feedback to pupils and parents through individual meetings and progress reviews.

Programme Support:

  • Assist the Head of the School of Football Programme in the selection process for new participants for the next academic year.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by the Head of the School of Football Programme.

Required Knowledge & Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in coaching young footballers aged 11-15.
  • Proven track record of delivering a coaching curriculum that focuses on holistic development.
  • Experience in providing feedback to players and parents.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build relationships, motivate, and inspire young players.

Qualifications:

  • UEFA C Licence (Children's or Youth/Adult) or higher (desirable).
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (desirable).
