The main purpose this role is develop and grow community cycling through the following;-
- Develop relationships with the local cycling community; maintaining, developing and co-ordinating stakeholders and communities across Aberdeen City.
- Plan, co-ordinate and co-deliver a strategic place-based approach to cycling delivery across Aberdeen City; ensuring a particular focus on children and young people in priority neighbourhoods.
- Tackle inequalities through the programming and delivery of community programmes within SIMD areas of Aberdeen City; ensuring the delivery of an integrated pathway of cycling opportunities for the city.
- Support and collaborate with the Rock Up and Ride programme of activity.
- Monitor and report on the performance of partnership activation and behaviour change interventions.
- Market and promote cycling opportunities across Aberdeen City.
- Support, and build capacity, in the volunteer network of coaches and rider leaders.
Location: HQ & Citywide
Position available: Part Time 18.5 hours per week
Duration: Fixed term (1 year) – 12 months from date of appointment
Salary: £14,227.985 per annum
