Status of role: Contract for service, reviewed annually
Location: Part time - residential and non-residential weekend training camps at a range of venues between September 2024 and August 2025
Payment rate: £150 to £200 (depending on experience) per each day of the training camp
To create a world class system, we must recruit, invest in and retain world class physiotherapists within the national performance programmes and performance pathway programmes, who align with and share Scottish Gymnastics' vision and values.
In order to achieve this vision, Scottish Gymnastics are looking to recruit a number of physiotherapists who will support our performance programmes across all eight disciplines within the associated residential and non-residential training camp environment.
You would be part of the team shaping a collaborative culture and creating a training environment where gymnasts and coaches can thrive and where gymnast well-being and safeguarding is a front and centre. You would provide leadership for the delivery and development of physiotherapy services and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a holistic approach to physiotherapy, sports massage therapy as well as prehabilitation and rehabilitation services to athletes and coaches.
Appointment is subject to a satisfactory PVG scheme membership and evidence of essential qualifications as detailed in the job description
