The Young People's Sport Panel

Led by sportscotland, supported by Young Scot.

The Young People’s Sport Panel provides a national platform to represent the voice of young people across Scotland. The role of the panel is to help influence and shape the future of sport in Scotland and to raise the profile of sport. The programme's principle is that young people's views are heard and valued, and they have the opportunity to influence decision making and drive change.

2020-22 panel recruitment

Applications for the 2020-22 panel are now closed, and we have been in touch with applicants to let them know whether they've progressed to the interview stage.

While face to face interviews were postponed, we've been working to co-ordinate a virtual interview process that still allows us to get the best out of candidates. We really appreciate your patience and understanding in the meantime!

Candidates who have reached the interview stage have now been contacted with details of the online process and how to register for their information session and interview.

Unsuccessful applicants were contacted in March with information about other volunteering or leadership opportunities they might be interested in.

Please contact with any questions about the process.
