In May 2017 sportscotland commissioned ekosgen and re:creation consulting to evaluate the support we provide for coaches and coaching under three programmes:
- Coach infrastructure
- Coach education
- Coach development
The evaluation aimed to understand how the blend of sportscotland’s interventions contributes to ensuring there is a coaching workforce equipped with a set of critical behaviours that will deliver a world class coaching system in Scotland.
This is the first in a series of 'wider evaluations’. These independent evaluations will look in depth at how the programmes we deliver alongside our partners support the sporting system.
