What has been your highlight during your time as a YA?
Meeting new people, building new connections and making friends. I’ve definitely made long lasting friendships and have even rekindled with a few old friends.
Why did you apply to be part of the YA Delivery Team?
I applied because sports have always been a huge part of my life, and since I had the opportunity to make a difference in sport within Scotland I wanted to take it. I’m so glad I did.
What advice would you give to a young person considering Young Ambassadors?
Don’t be afraid to sign up and just do it. It’s easier said than done, but it’s an amazing opportunity and experience. Also with the information you get from the conferences, don’t be afraid to take that first step to make a change in your school!

What are your future aspirations?
Continue my path in athletics and to go to university to study law!
