The sportscotland School Sport Award reviewed, refreshed and relaunched in 2022 with help and feedback from a number of our partners. Since the re-launch. Over 1000 schools across Scotland have now signed up to the award.
Some of the key changes include:
- New assessment tool website and questions
- Increased focus on continuous improvement, with a new action planning section on the website
- Awards can be achieved all year round, no need to wait until the end of the academic year
- Streamlined Gold application process with significantly less evidence required
Submissions
- Schools can apply at any time throughout the year for bronze or silver. If you qualify for gold, there is some further information to submit for review.
- Gold submissions will be reviewed throughout the year, we would encourage your school to submit before the end of academic term 2024/25
