sportscotland recognises the importance of developing the learning and development of the Scottish Governing Body (SGB) workforce from CEO to administrator, national coach and board member. The knowledge, skills, experience and competence of all SGB employees, voluntary or paid, is crucial to the long term success of SGBs.
The aim of the SGB L&D Programme is to develop a well trained, skilled and informed SGB workforce through the delivery of a ‘needs based’, learning and development programme. The Programme is open to all staff, board and high level volunteers of sportscotland recognised SGBs. Please only inform those who work directly for your organisation of the programme.

- Book up early, our courses are popular and fill up fast!
- If a course or workshop is full, don't dismay! Register for the waitlist as spaces often come available, so make sure you check your inbox and keep the day free! It also provides us with evidence that we need to run another course.
