Q&A with Lily

What has been your highlight during your time as a YA?

I have enjoyed being able to travel off the island to participate in training events which have taught me many new skills that i have been able to use in clubs and events we have held at my school.

What are you most looking forward to as part of the YA Delivery Team?

I am looking forward to being able to travel to new places to take part in the conferences and meet lots of new people.

What skills would you like to learn or develop during your time as a YA Delivery Team member?

I would like to develop my confidence and ability to speak in front of new people.

What advice would you give to a young person considering Young Ambassadors? 

I would say go for it, try your best and put as much effort into it as you can.

What is your proudest achievement (outside of Young Ambassadors)?

My proudest achievement outside of Young Ambassador’s is probably my achievements with my horse. 

What are your future aspirations?

I would like to achieve being able to speak confidently and comfortably in front of a large group of people.
