What has been your highlight during your time as a YA?
Meeting other Young Ambassadors at the Hampden conference last year and sharing ideas to encourage young people to be proud of sport
What are you most looking forward to as part of the YA Delivery Team?
Making new friends and being able to be part of a group of people with similar interests
What skills would you like to learn or develop during your time as a YA Delivery Team member?
I want to further develop my team work and be more confident talking in big groups
What advice would you give to a young person considering Young Ambassadors?
Just go for it, whether or not you know anyone or are scared, you make new friends and it is such a great experience. Don’t let anything or anyone hold you back.
What is your proudest achievement (outside of Young Ambassadors)?
Leading and watching three dance teams improve and learn as I taught them and trained them for competition. Seeing them perform on the stage made me so proud.
What are your future aspirations?
I want to become a PE teacher or join the police
