Ingredients

(Note: just use a standard-sized kitchen mug!)

4 cups oats

1½ cups nuts and/or seeds

¾ tsp salt

½ tsp ground cinnamon

½ cup olive oil

½ cup honey

1 tsp vanilla extract

2/3 cup dried fruit

 

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a large baking tray with greaseproof paper
  2. In a large bowl mix the oats, nuts and/or seeds, salt and cinnamon
  3. Pour in the oil, honey and vanilla extract and mix well
  4. Tip the granola onto the baking tray and spread it out evenly
  5. Bake for about 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway, until the granola has turned a light golden colour
  6. Once out of the oven let the granola cool completely. Before placing in a tub for storage, add the dried fruit and mix to your desired consistency.
