Ingredients
(Note: just use a standard-sized kitchen mug!)
4 cups oats
1½ cups nuts and/or seeds
¾ tsp salt
½ tsp ground cinnamon
½ cup olive oil
½ cup honey
1 tsp vanilla extract
2/3 cup dried fruit
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a large baking tray with greaseproof paper
- In a large bowl mix the oats, nuts and/or seeds, salt and cinnamon
- Pour in the oil, honey and vanilla extract and mix well
- Tip the granola onto the baking tray and spread it out evenly
- Bake for about 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway, until the granola has turned a light golden colour
- Once out of the oven let the granola cool completely. Before placing in a tub for storage, add the dried fruit and mix to your desired consistency.
