Volunteer Enabler Opportunities within Unified Rugby – Male and Female

Trust Rugby International (tri) is a charity devoted to breaking down the barriers to participation of rugby for those with physical, sensory and learning difficulties. We specialise in 'unified' rugby - bringing people with and without disabilities together to participate in and enjoy the sport of rugby, reaping the benefits of the values of rugby.

We are looking for volunteer 'enablers' to come on board to take part in and help support players with additional support needs during training, matches and post-match socialisation. Enablers are paramount for the successful running of our programmes nationwide. Although being an experienced rugby player helps, we are keen to work with anyone who has a passion for supporting change.

Enablers may still be playing competitive rugby, or they may be looking to continue to play at a slower pace, but are keen to give something back to the game and allow others’ to benefit from the amazing sport.

We are currently training weekly in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Kilmarnock, Inverurie and Fife but we are also working with a number of other Clubs to introduce the sport there so please still get in touch if you are interested and we do not currently train in your area.

Please get in touch if you are interested or have any questions.
