Overview

Inverclyde Leisure are currently recruiting fun, outgoing and passionate swimming teachers to join our team.

We are looking for qualified level 1 / level 2 teachers that enjoy working with children and go that extra mile to exceed customer’s expectations.

2 contracts available – 16.5 and 14 hours per week basic (various locations within Inverclyde)

Supplementary hours are available through our extensive schools swimming lesson programme, private lessons, crash courses and learn to swim programme. Earn up to £22,750 per year!

Responsibilities

Delivering the swimming lesson scheme within Inverclyde Leisure’s Swim School to a high quality standard as laid out by Scottish Swimming encompassing great levels of customer service and instruction to customers.

Requirements

  • Be highly reliable, self-motivated, enthusiastic, friendly and enjoy working with children.
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to communicate and work with people of all ages
  • Willingness to undertake further training
  • Ability to work on a flexible shift pattern including regular weekend and evenings. Additionally, irregular shifts as and when required.
  • Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check
