Secretary - The Strathmore Rugby Club Community Trust

Founded in June 2017 the purpose of Strathmore Rugby Club Community Trust is the advancement of participation in rugby union and rugby league. We are achieving this through community projects designed to develop people as athletes, coaches and volunteers with the aim of creating a lifelong involvement in sport.

The Board of Trustees is now seeking to appoint a Secretary to assist with the continuing development of the Trust. The role would involve organising, minuting and attending quarterly board meetings, overviewing the social media output, assisting with strategic planning and acting as an ambassador for the Trust. There would also be a responsibility to maintain Trust records in line with OSCR guidelines. In addition, the Secretary is the first point of contact for any Safeguarding issues and therefore some knowledge in this area would be useful, however training would be provided.

Knowledge of rugby union, rugby league or sport in general would be helpful but not essential. We are looking for an individual with the drive and commitment to help the Trust achieve its vision over the long term.

Applications can be submitted to Stuart Gray, Chairperson,
