Project Activator (Looked After Project): Sport Aberdeen

18 hours per week (Maternity Cover)

To cover maternity leave on it’s award winning Looked After Project, Sport Aberdeen are looking to appoint a Project Activator. As part of funding received from the Life Changes Trust to expand the project, this exciting opportunity will see the successful candidate use sport and physical activity to positively change the lives of looked after and care experienced young people.

We’re looking for a highly motivated, resilient individual who has a passion for working with hard to reach groups and wants to help make a positive impact to young people’s lives. Being able to build relationships, often in challenging circumstances, work well with others and be a good communicator will be key. Experience of working within social work or youth work environments is desirable, as is experience of working in, or a passion for, sport and leisure.

If you have what it takes to help Sport Aberdeen’s Looked After Project to continue to develop then we want to hear from you!
