Partick Thistle Charitable Trust: Community Coach

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated individuals to the role of Community Coach. Such a role will involve the planning, delivery and evaluation of a range of provision for children, young people and adults of all ages and abilities. Candidates must be a suitably qualified sports coach that is available to work in the North of Glasgow.

Successful applicants will be assigned to one or more of our community based programmes.

Community coaches will primarily work with our Programme Development team to ensure that all programmes are delivered to the highest quality.

Applicants for this post will need to possess the following;

  • SFA Level 1.3 Certificate in Coaching Football
  • Some experience of working on football/sport based projects
  • Disability, Female and/or BAME specific coaching experience is desired
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • An up to date PVG check, current emergency first aid and child protection certificates

Applicants will need to have a UK drivers licence, have a flexible approach to work, and be willing to work evenings and weekends.
