Heriot-Watt University Men’s 1st Football Team Assistant Coach (Voluntary)

Heriot-Watt University currently has an exciting and challenging vacancy in the form of a volunteer assistant coach for Heriot-Watt University Men’s 1st Football Team. The football club currently has 8 squads (8 men, 1 women), with the Men’s 1st Team playing in the East of Scotland league.

We are looking for an experienced (minimum C Licence) and enthusiastic coach to work alongside our team of Scottish FA qualified coaching staff in supporting the Men’s 1st Team on Saturday match days, and at Monday and Thursday night training.

Training and home fixtures take place at the University's excellent sport facilities at Oriam, Scotland’s National Sports Performance Centre. Oriam is home to the SFA National Women’s Performance Academy and is the training base for SFA Performance Squads and Heart of Midlothian Football Club. With football having a major presence within these superb new facilities, it is an exciting time for all involved in sport and football at the University.

Preferred Qualification: Minimum Level C

Training and Match Schedule:
Training: Monday & Thursday, 7.00pm to 8.30pm at Oriam
Matches: Saturdays
