Heart of Midlothian ASC are on the hunt for a new Swim School Manager. Interested…..then read on!

Hearts ASC are a thriving Edinburgh based swimming club that provide swimming opportunities for all abilities – from our Learn to Swim programmes to our pre-club groups, from full performance squads to a successful Masters section – we really do cater for everyone.

We operate an in-house Swim School that provides structured swimming lessons that aim to develop confidence and make swimming exciting and enjoyable whilst developing skills for life. In addition, we run a Swim Academy which acts as a bridge for those swimmers who’ve finished lessons and wish to transition into club training and competing. On the Scottish Swimming Pathway, this equates to Level 2 (Super Start) of Pre Club Development.

We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Swim School Manager to lead our friendly and dedicated team of teachers.  You’ll need to have a minimum Level 2 qualification & ideally you’ll have some leadership experience, such as mentoring teachers and planning swimming lessons. Most importantly though, you’ll love teaching children to swim. Joining our team is as much about getting the right person, as it is the right skill set.

In return you’ll receive excellent remuneration through your contract terms and agreed rates of pay, and ongoing support with your Continued Professional Development.

If you’re passionate about teaching, can build great relationships, and want to be part of a successful swimming club, we’d love to hear from you.
