Health & Wellbeing Officer: Aberdeenshire Council

Westhill Community Centre

36.25hrs per week

Work in close partnership with management and key agencies to develop, implement and manage a Health and Wellbeing programme for people living with long-term health conditions. In order to motivate / create behavioural change through engaging with physical activity opportunities in local communities and to improve health inequalities throughout Aberdeenshire.

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the service and the organisation.

This post has a minimum requirement of one reference which must be your current or most recent employer.

You will be required to meet the following essential criteria:

  • Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline or equivalent relevant experience related to health and wellbeing or physical activity initiatives.
  • Proven experience of working with clients and partners related to community projects and health, and physical activity programmes
  • Experience of leading projects in formulating operational plans, delivering and achieving results with succession planning in place
  • Ability to drive and travel within Aberdeenshire
