11 hours per week, Term Time 1 year temporary.

To work in our Sports Development team, we are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Head Tennis Coach, who will lead on the delivery of fun, safe and engaging coaching sessions to the participants in our Mini Tennis and Development programme. 

We have ambitious plans for the development of Tennis in Falkirk. As a head coach, your main role is about leading on the coaching delivery for our programme.  We are looking for knowledgeable and inspiring people, who naturally have these qualities. Your role will also involve delivering competitions, continually assessing participants to allow them to progress within the coaching curriculum and providing feedback to players and parents.

Coaching sessions will be delivered at various sports facilities throughout Falkirk including our all weather courts at Dollar and Zetland Park. The post requires self-motivation, flexibility, team work and good communication skills. Currently our tennis provision includes the following sessions with the options of additional hours for delivery at holiday camps and our large primary school festival programme.

Development Squad Sessions

  • Tuesday, Dollar Park Tennis Courts; 445pm to 815pm
  • Thursday, Dollar Park, Tennis Courts; 445pm to 815pm

Mini Tennis programme 

  • Wednesday, Dollar Park Tennis Courts;  545pm to 815pm 
  • Friday, Indoor Mini Tennis Session 530pm to 7pm

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of a UKCC level 2 Tennis qualifications for this post
