sportscotland is looking to appoint a new Head of Performance Sport Disciplines, who will lead the team, drive and co-ordinate all performance discipline support for athletes and sports supported by the sportscotland institute of sport.  This includes Physical Preparation, Sports Medicine, Performance Solutions, Performance Nutrition, Performance Psychology, Performance Lifestyle, Physiotherapy and Performance Physiology. 

As Head of Performance Sport Disciplines, reporting to the Director of Sport, you will drive a culture of excellence in the day to day deployment, impact of and delivery of applied support across all discipline areas.   Working alongside the Head of Performance Sport Programmes to lead, manage and coordinate all strategic and operational matters relating to the High Performance Strategy and Corporate Plan. 

You should have a high level of understanding of holistic support alongside the integration of technical performance solutions. You should also have significant experience in managing staff, managing budgets and high performance management systems.
