To work in our Sports Development team, we are looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals, who will help to deliver fun, safe and engaging coaching sessions, to the young people involved in our Sports Development program.

As a Head Coach, your main role is all about leading the delivery of creative, fun and structured coaching sessions. Your role will also involve inspiring and motivating the people involved in our football programme to develop their skills and promote the benefits of an active and healthy lifestyle through sport. We are looking for great people, who naturally have these qualities.

Coaching sessions will be delivered at various sports facilities throughout Falkirk. We require flexible individuals that will be able to deliver sessions at various times including the evenings and weekends. The post requires self-motivation, flexibility, team work and good communication skills.

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of a SFA Level 2 qualification for this post.

The successful applicant will be employed by Falkirk Community Trust. The Trust is a charitable company set up by Falkirk Council to deliver culture, library, recreation and sport services on its behalf from 1st July 2011. The successful candidate will require to gain/maintain membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme for regulated work with children.
