We operate 156 venues across Glasgow including Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, the Emirates Arena, Mitchell Library and the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. In addition we are proud to be responsible for Celtic Connections, the Glasgow Club and the City’s 32 local libraries.
As Sport and Physical Activity Coach (Swimming) you will report to the Head Performance Swimming Coach and be responsible for:
- Leading the coaching, training and competition programme of one of the COGST Masters Squad (or similar group as directed by the Head Performance Coach) to deliver a valuable technique development, fitness, participation/competitive and engaging club swimming experience to adults;
- Attending swimming competitions as required for all groups/swimmers within the COGST programme;
- Attending local and regional forums/meetings on behalf of the Club and Glasgow Life, including providing reports to key personnel as required;
- Work with Glasgow Life swimming lessons staff to ensure the continual introduction of children from learn to swim into the COGST training groups;
To be successful in this role you have the following skills and experience:
UKCC Level 1 Coaching or Teaching Aquatics or equivalent
You will be a highly motivated, professional and innovative person. You will have excellent communication skills, have a flexible approach to work and knowledge of coaching within a club programme.

Salary will be pro rata to reflect Part Time.
