Lugar Boswell Thistle (East Ayrshire) are seeking a motivated and dedicated football coach to join the Management Team. The club compete within the semi-professional West of Scotland Football League within the Scottish Football Association / Scottish Professional Football League pyramid.
Responsible to: First Team Manager
Salary: Voluntary position however remuneration is offered
Job Description
The successful candidate will work closely with the current management team to support the development of players and work towards planning for match day tactics, patterns of play and all other related areas.
The successful candidate will be expected to attend 2 nights per week training and match day on Saturdays at both home and away fixtures.
This is an excellent opportunity for motivated and dedicated football coaches to step into the Scottish Football Association pyramid and start their journey with a semi-professional football team competing within the West of Scotland Football League.

- SFA level 1.3 Youth/Adult Coaching Award
Qualifications - Desirable
- UEFA B Licence
- SFA C Licence
Personal - essential
- Full Driving Licence
- Previous Coaching Experience
- Ability to work on own initiative or part of a team
- Be organised & have good time management skills
- Be able to adapt to different and changing situations
- Ability to liaise with management, coaches, players & other football related individuals in a professional manner.
- Have excellent communication skills
Personal - desirable
- Previous playing experience in a professional or semi-professional environment
- An understanding of a range of different teaching / learning styles to optimise player development.
